You can buy Angel City Press books in gift and book stores, or directly from the publisher on the Web.

In a perfect world, gift and book stores everywhere would keep an ample supply of each Angel City Press title at the checkout counter for your buying convenience -- how simple! Somehow, the many tens of thousands of new titles that other publishers bring out each year distract retailers from implementing this oh-so-logical policy . . . so you may have to ask your retailer where -- and if -- the books you want are available.

In addition to titles and authors, books have standard part numbers (the International Standard Book Number, or ISBN for short) used by computer systems that track book inventories. ISBNs for Angel City Press books begin with "1-883318-" -- if you check our titles page for the ISBNs of the books you want and use them in your search, you'll save time.

We at Angel City Press firmly believe that every book should be available "forever" -- but books must be produced (and paid for) in large quantities before they can be sold, and sometimes sales volumes can't justify a reprint run. So a few of the titles (see table below) we have published can be difficult to find in stores.

Many used and anqituarian booksellers take great care in cataloging and rating their inventories, and participate in online exchanges such as the one run by abebooks.com -- a search on their site may help you locate the book you want.
