Betsy Berkhemer-Credaire
Betsy Berkhemer-Credaire started her first company with just $800, a phone, and a typewriter. Fifteen years later, she and her partners sold that successful PR agency to Golin/Harris. In 1994, she and Fred Clayton launched Berkhemer Clayton Inc., a retained executive search firm in Los Angeles, and recently, Hong Kong. She chairs the Los Angeles/Orange County chapter of WomenCorporateDirectors. Her nonprofit boards include National Association of Women Business Owners of California, Southern California Leadership Network, and California Utilities Diversity Council. She has served on the advisory boards of Southern California Edison and UCLA Medical Center. Betsy co-hosts a weekly Southern California radio showUnfinished Business with Renee Fraser on KFWB News Talk 980. A graduate of UCLA, Betsy and her husband Cris Credaire live in downtown Los Angeles.
